Every product or brand name has a back story – a spark that forged the future of that particular item. For Tom Faggione that spark is his community. Tom was born in New York City and moved to Port Jervis, New York when he was 6 years old. Port Jervis would become his true hometown, his place, his community.
Tom Faggione is no stranger to being in front, leading the way. He is a man of many hats, quite literally. Tom has over 25 years of radio broadcast experience with WDLC Radio. He’s also an elected official (County Legislator) and small business owner (T-Bone Design, Custom Embroidery). When he isn’t behind the mic or the government podium, he’s stitching away as general manager of a custom embroidery business in Port Jervis (Richard’s Military Surplus, www.militarygifts.com).
Tom Faggione took back to NYC for college, but that small town spirit in Port Jervis was in his veins. With degree in hand, he returned home to make a career.
Tom Faggione has been broadcasting high school football for WDLC Radio since 1993. He is the voice of the Red Raider Football.
Tom is also Orange County Legislator, representing his city as well as the Town of Deerpark in County Government. He’s 1 of 21 legislators in a county of nearly 400,000 residents.
Lastly, Tom is general manager of militarygifts.com – a small business that produces U. S. Navy Ship Baseball Caps for Veterans across America. When his machines aren’t stitching military hats, Tom’s working them to produce little league uniforms, shirts for area civic groups, and garments and gear for area small businesses.
It is safe to say that Tom Faggione truly is a man of many hats.
